heres some of my favorite works so far:
this was made in 3hours (not including baking time of course) and a cake that started my fascination with complicated cakes. ill admit that this is hardly complicated but during that time i was sooooo happy i could produce something like this =P
heres a cake for the kiddies during Halloween =P id have to say this one really brought back some memories when i was a kid and trick or treat was still in your yearly list to do!
a cake made for a showcase. i thought it was sweet and flattering. just like how i want to be when i grow up with my baby.and this..oh this...=P is my most favorite work so far. i did this about 3 months ago for a guy who wants to ask a girl for her heart. i dreamed up of things on paper that had him give me a go signal in a split second but to be honest? i wasnt really sure i could pull it off! and i only had 2days before delivery! so i sucked it up and tried to remember everything that i learned from school. i didnt go to any formal culinary school but rather learned everything at home reading online and some books so it wasnt really much help. watching food network did though =P
both doors can be opened and thats a big slab of pure chocolate underneath those letters. some chocklit cubes to act as lifters around then bezel so that the cover would be well cleared of the letters. we dont want a smudged up proposal dont we?
overall these are just some works ive done and well whenever i look at them i cant help but feel sad. all these pictures are all that i have of them now. not like an artwork made of paint or stone that you could visit somewhere and view them again. no, these are gone the minute you deliver them and all your hardwork is sliced and digested =P the payoff? the appreciation from the people who you made happy by filling there request and actually pushing more than 200% for it. thats enough to make me smile again.
